Hi, is this an update for Windows you are talking about? I have not seen any update I know Mac was updated a few weeks ago to v53. Is this another bump for Mac to v55?
Yes it's for Windows. If you haven't been auto-updated, then just uninstall and reinstall by downloading from the home page.
Thanks for the update, guys. Browsing with it right now. I see the new EpicProxy button. Does this interact with enabling the global proxy button? What are some scenarios for using both of them?
Im on a windows 8.1 machine using v.48.0.2553.0 of epic browser and every single day on a variety of sites the Youtube player keeps crashing. Is there an update coming anytime this month?
still cannot find anywhere the current Epic version number
It's nowhere to be found prior to install, however, clicking About Epic Privacy Browser displays the version number.
I noticed on the landing page that there was mention of a linux version coming soon. How far off is the release?
I really don't mind the taskbar positioning, however, I updated through the wire and Epic was placing an icon on my desktop. There was a blog post written awhile ago that stated Windows 64 bit users should completely uninstall/reinstall to solve that issue. Just completed that...so far so good.
I've got my zoom set for 150% and whenever I adjust the width of the bookmarks frame, the scrollbar disappears. Is this a chrome bug?
How do I remove the feature of displaying a persistent shortcut icon onto my desktop (Windows 8.1)?
Thanks for the update!
Success!
I had the same problem too and now it installs on my XP config...
Thanks, guys
He's right. I'm trying to download Epic from a Windows XP machine and it's not installing. I can get the installer just fine, however, when it connects it fails. The installer tries another 2 times and then displays that the install was successful, yet nothing gets downloaded.
Hey guys, I'm using Version 34.0.1841.29 (251262) on Win7 32 bit and the latest update to adblock is working just fine for me now. Keep it up Epic devs, this is the way research and browsing on the web is supposed to be.
