Hi,
I am running the 34.0.1841.20 (251262) Epic browser and I still have a plugin "Epic privacy update 1.3.27.13" activated. I also see it on firefox.
I don't know what is the purpose of this plugin.
In addition I have epic.exe (I am not sure of the name) process running in background and that is detected as a potential threat by any spy ware software.
I hope you can give me some insight about what are these peace of code.

I dowload epic from the epic site.
I launched Epic and my avast antivirus detect epic.exe a virus (I don't remember exactly which kind of virus win32xx).
I there an update of Epic latly ?
It would be fine to have a change log every time you issue a new version.

Don't know why I have the Chromoting Viewer activated (does it come with epic) ?
Don't know what is the native client plug in.
Besides that I was wondering whether it is feasible to activate the plug-ins only when necessary. For exemple when a page needs flash activate only the flash plug-in on the tab displaying the page.

I am always anxious when I have type my credit card number for a purchase.
I fear that a keylogger may be present on my PC.
Would it possible to have an option where a virtual keyboard pops up when a login/password/credit card number shall be entered and closes down when the password is entered (Enter, Tab key pressed, submit button pressed).

For exemple when I click below "confidentiels" an add appears.

It would be interesting to be able to make a custom search like the right search box in opera 12, where you chose your search engine.
If you want to search a book on amazon or component on radio spare or a word on the cambridge dictionnary it does not make sense to first search the site and then search your item.
It is not necessary to create a new search box, just use the standard one and add an arrow.
The opera way to include new search is very neat.
It works also for google translation. You enter the google translate site search box and it translates the phrase or the page of the url. It would solve the problem of the person how wants a google translate extension.
The requests would be proxied by epic in order to keep the privacy.

IMHO it is dangerous to allow the extensions.
I downloaded Firefox latetly, on a normaly trustworthy site, and the browser came with a spying tool bar extension that was impossible to remove.
I think that people that will download epic on an other site than the epic official site will potentialy face this problem.
An other approach would be to include the most interesting feature directly in the browser.

I noticed that epic browser blocks much less adds than opera+adblock.
For example it does not block the youtube adds.
I tried to add this list that is part of the opera adblock list : https://chromeadblock.com/filters/adblock_custom.txt but it was rejected.
Is it a bug or a feature ? (I know that the pluging adblock plus allows some adds)
Besides that epic seems to be promissing.
