Thanks.

#2 Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Cannot Access Epic Search and Google Even With Proxy Disabled » 2015-09-26 09:13:04

Hello Epic,

In addition to my Proxy problem, I can't seem to access Epicsearch and Google even with the Proxy disabled. When I try to access Google, I am getting the "Unable to connect to the proxy server" error message even when the Proxy is disabled. Other sites work fine except Google.

Also when I search query on Epic Search it prompts me to complete a "Captcha" but it's showing no image because there is an error message saying "There was an issue communicating with the captcha provider. More information may be available below." Hence, I could not complete the Security Check to access Epic Search.

Hope you can help me sort out this issue.

Thank you and MORE POWER!!

Hi Epic,

There seems to be a problem with the proxy once again. I've been getting the "Unable to connect to the proxy server" error message again everytime the proxy is enabled. Whenever it's disabled, I'm able to browse the net. Could you look into this for me?

THANK YOU AND MORE POWER!!!

Hi Epic,

Would like to let you know that, currently, my browser seems to be really lagging when the proxy is turned on. Even updating the Adblock lists seems to take forever and usually fails to update. The same goes when I try to access any website. Whenever the proxy is turned off, it goes back to normal.

Also, is this IP: 38.86.48.38 one of your hosting sites? Please let me know so I could let this through. This may be the cause of the lag.

Thanks and MORE POWER!!

#6 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » unable to connect to proxy server » 2015-05-02 14:59:45

Hi Epic,

I've been getting the same error message every time my Peerblock and Firewall blocks the IP 38.86.48.36...Was wondering if this is your IP so I can add an exclusion to fix this problem from my end.

Thanks and MORE POWER!!!

#7 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Webpage not available » 2015-04-16 00:04:47

Hi Sathi,

Thanks for the update. Already made exceptions to these IP's. Will keep you posted for any other issues.

#8 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Webpage not available » 2015-04-14 07:39:28

Hello Epic Peeps,

Been getting the same error message when the proxy is turned on. When deactivated, I could access the internet. Also, ever since the most recent update, I've been getting the following IP's on Peerblock:

45.55.145.194
45.55.189.64

They're being blocked so I was wondering if they might be your IP's. If they are, please let me know so I can unblock them in my Peerblock and my Firewall.

Thanks and MORE POWER!!!

Hi Epic,

Aside from the Proxy Button disappearing, I could not click on the "Adblock Options". I used to click this so I could update the lists but this time, nothing happens when I click on this. Can you please look into this. My Epic Browser version is 39.0.2171.99.

Thank you and more power!!!!

#11 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Epic proxy button does not show » 2015-02-06 01:48:43

The Proxy Icon has disappeared. Tried closing and re-opening the browser but it's still missing. My current version is 39.0.2171.99. Hope you can help me with this.

Thanks and more power!!!

#13 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » When proxy is enabled, I am unable to connect to the proxy. » 2015-01-27 17:52:34

Hi Epic,

I've been having the same problem with the proxy on. I ran the chrome://net-internals/#proxy and this is what I got:

PAC script: data:application/x-ns-proxy-autoconfig;base64,ZnVuY3Rpb24gRmluZFByb3h5Rm9yVVJMKHVybCwgaG9zdCkgewppZihob3N0PT0nd3d3LmVwaWNzZWFyY2guaW4nKSAKcmV0dXJuICdIVFRQUyB3d3cub2RlY2lkZS5jb206NDQzMDA7RElSRUNUOyc7CiAgIHJldHVybiAnSFRUUFMgd3d3Lm9kZWNpZGUuY29tOjQ0MzAwO0hUVFBTIGZhaXNsYS5uZXQ6NDQzMDA7JzsKfQ==

It coincides when every time I get this IP flagged by Peerblock: 146.185.183.15, I always end up not being able to connect to any website. Was wondering if this is your IP so I could allow it on Peerblock and hopefully it would fix my problem.

Thank you and more power to Epic!

#14 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy switch has disappeared » 2014-11-06 05:58:23

Hi Sai,

I followed billjt's suggestion but the icon still keeps disappearing from time to time. Letting you know so you can check it from your end.

Thank you and more power.

#15 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy switch has disappeared » 2014-11-06 05:28:58

Hi Sai,

I've made the necessary exclusions to my Firewall. You may remove the list. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

#16 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy switch has disappeared » 2014-10-31 18:31:12

Hello Epic,

followed what you advice and restarted my browser and the Proxy Icon came back. However, when I go to any website, the icon vanishes again. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but had to let you know if this is a bug or something. Also, noticed that my connection/browser goes down when the following IP's have been flagged by Peerblock and my Firewall:

173.255.228.19 = proXPN Direct LLC
146.185.183.15 = 58th Signal Batallion/Digital Ocean
146.71.102.114 = 58th Signal Batallion/Digital Ocean

Would like to know if these IP addresses are from you guys so I can let them go though my firewall and Peerblock.

THANK YOU AND MORE POWER!!!!

#17 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy Not Working » 2014-09-03 16:42:14

Hi Sathi,

Cool!!! I've made exceptions for the above IP's. The Proxy is working smoothly now.

Thanks for the assist and more power to Epic!!!!

#18 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy Not Working » 2014-09-01 18:04:10

Hi Sathi,

In addition, as soon as I allowed the above IP's, PeerBlock and my Firewall was flooded with this IP:

Aarons.Net  - 204.27.58.34

The proxy bogged down again so it may be your IP. I checked the source and it showed Joe's Datacenter, LLC which is located in Kansas City, MO. Could this be related to you?

Thanks you and more power!!!!

#19 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy Not Working » 2014-09-01 17:08:24

Hi Sathi,

Thank you for the feedback. I have made exceptions for the above IP addresses in my Firewall and PeerBlock. However, to make sure that the proxy will function properly, the following IP's are also from:

Fujitsu Australia, Ltd.        -  203.16.213.38
                                            203.178.148.19
                                            204.27.58.34
                                            204.160.115.252
                                            204.160.119.254

Savvis                               -  207.123.53.253
                                            209.84.15.252
                                            209.84.26.126
                                            209.84.27.252

Is it safe to say that these IP's are from you? Can you please confirm so that I can make exclusions for them as well to ensure that the proxy will work smoothly.

Thank you again and more power!!!

#20 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Proxy Not Working » 2014-08-29 23:21:29

Hello Epic,

Could not seem to connect via the Proxy once again. I am using PeerBlock and I've noticed the following IP's popping up every time I open Epic:

204.27.56.170     - Fujitsu Australia Ltd.
208.94.247.130   - Savvis
199.217.118.201 - Hosting Solutions International, Inc.

These IP's are blocked by my Firewall and PeerBlock automatically. Would like to know if these IP's are related to the Proxy that may be causing the problem. If they are, then I would make exclusions for these IP's.

Thanks and more power!!!!

#21 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » My proxy is not working. » 2014-08-23 17:12:42

Hello Epic,

My proxy doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Only when the proxy has been turned off can I access the internet. Could there be a problem with your server? I've checked the settings in my Avast Anti-virus and my PrivateFirewall to make sure that Epic is still allowed and it still is.

I can't access the internet through the proxy since this morning so could you please check this for me.....I also use PeerBlock and have been seeing some IP's blocked every time proxy is enabled. Would you have a list of IP addresses that you often use so I could white list them in PeerBlock?

Thanks you and more power!!!

#22 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » adblock issues » 2014-07-23 21:01:09

Hi Sathi,

I've been monitoring the Adblock filters for some time now and so far, whatever you guys have done seems to be working. My filters have not been removed or reset. I'll keep you guys posted if there are any bugs.

THANK YOU AND MORE POWER!!!!!!!

#23 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Umbrella Button » 2014-07-13 02:26:08

Hi Sathi,

One more thing I've noticed. When I re-open my browser, sometimes the only filters left are "Malware Domains", "Fanboy's Social Blocking List", and "EasyPrivacy" or, most of the time, it's completely empty and not even these filters are there. So I go through the process of re-adding them again.

Thank you.

#24 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Umbrella Button » 2014-07-13 02:12:02

Hi Sathi,

I did what you said and went to the Settings and tried tweaking the "Open a specific page or set of pages." by adding a specific website. I placed Yahoo and tried opening a new tab to see if it would go to that specific page but it didn't. When I closed the browser and re-opened it, it went to Yahoo.......So it would seem that any changes to the settings will take effect after restarting the browser.

The subscription filters have disappeared again and had to re-add them....Will be looking forward to the update.

Thank you and more power to Epic!!!

#25 Re: Epic Privacy Browser - Help & Troubleshooting » Umbrella Button » 2014-07-10 15:59:03

Hi Sathi,

Yes, I'm afraid so. When I turned on my PC this morning and opened my browser, all subscription filters are gone. Had to add them again.

Thanks.
