Investigatory Powers Bill aka Snoopers Charter

I cannot believe that the UK has actually passed this Bill.
Whilst I am not that naive to realize that the Government has been doing hacking and bulk data collection for years this Bill actually legitimizes it not to mention other aspects of this Bill including data retention, connection records, device IDs etc

There are some countries out there with some very suspect regimes who would love to have this sort of power.

Yes, it's terrible.  The US and many, many other countries are also authorizing more data collection, data sales, and surveillance than ever.
