Unable to add (LAN/internal) website to the main screen bookmarks

When you open the browser you have a few places to add a bookmark to the main screen, in this field you are prompted with you are unable to add an internal website, he will tell you its not a valid website.

for example you cannot add : h t t p://server01  or http://server01.company.lan

*edit (i can only add 1 URL per post, hence i had to "break up" the first h t t p)
