Hi there whenever I enable the proxy server globally (green connected plug symbol) the browser stops working and i get a strange message which I have posted below. Possibly silly but the browser now appears to discontinue working as normal. Chrome continues to work fine so my connection is not an issue. When I disable proxy globally (red disconnected plug symbol) the browser works as normal. A search engine such as yahoo/google is still accessed via a proxy (green connected plug symbol with small magnifying glass?) as long as I access it whilst I have disabled the proxy server globally (red disconnected plug symbol).
Hope that makes sense..

This is realy wierd. This is not a problem from OS X version.
I quiet did not get your problem. By enabling proxy, Epic is not at all working properly or these errors are coming occasionally ?

This should have been fixed. It was an issue with our proxy provider for an hour or so we thought? No one should be facing this at this point - if you are, try restarting Epic / your system.

The problem has stopped but it occurred for several days not several hours. Just to let you know.

I am currently getting the message which says Proxy service has crashed. Click on the balloon to reload the service. Clicking the balloon does not fix the issue. Any suggestions?

For the last week I have been getting the same balloon message regarding the proxy server. I have tried reloading epic, restarts etc. but it continues. Also the icon to disable the proxy server is missing from the address bar. Any suggestions?

I am also getting same issue in Windows 7 OS if I switch to proxy mode. And their is no option to switch back to original mode I guess. At least I am unable to find that option.

update has not fixed the issue as of now.

Hi Puglover,
In the recent updates, we have fixed Proxy extension updating. If it is not fixed, please repost exactly what is happening with your Epic Proxy.

Have you Quit the browser and checked this issue?
Offline
Sai you really underestimate our tech prowess if you ask questions like 'have you quit the program'.. lol
I was onto your project before release date and downloaded on release. Of course we have quit the program multiple times.. Heh
Anyway i'm of course using the latest OSX and the latest Epic update.
Here is a screen shot

Almost a month I haven't been able to use the browser.. When is this going to be fixed? I am getting pretty close to uninstalling as I'm loosing hope
Offline
We're working on it literally right now!!! There's a script you can run to fix this -- we hope to have a better solution in a day or so. If not, we'll post this script which "cleans" out Epic. Sorry about the delay & thanks as always for your help & detailed assitance!!

Does not work, not that I am using the browser anymore. Same problem still exists after update.
