#1 Epic Windows Bugs » Additonal Adblock subscriptions are removed when closing browser » 2017-09-01 17:22:48

Hello,

First off, thanks for the update. Overall it is really great. However, I found that when closing the browser it is removing additional Adblock subscriptions that are added by the user. If I want to use them, I have to re-add them every time I start up a new browsing session. Hopefully this is an easy fix.

Thanks!

Thanks for the update, guys. Browsing with it right now. I see the new EpicProxy button. Does this interact with enabling the global proxy button? What are some scenarios for using both of them?

Hi, is this an update for Windows you are talking about? I have not seen any update I know Mac was updated a few weeks ago to v53. Is this another bump for Mac to v55?

Hello,

Given that the Washington Post is a contributor to the Epic browser, I find this article a bit disturbing. In a nutshell, it indicates that the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post has become the largest newspaper to refuse to serve readers who filter out advertisements. Can someone speak to this?

Thanks!

#5 Epic Privacy Browser - Privacy Features & Privacy Concerns » New Tab not clearing Tracker and 3rd Party Cookie data » 2015-02-06 18:57:21

Hello,

In the past, once I closed the browser and re-opened, both the 'Third-party cookies blocked' and 'Trackers blocked' indicators would return to "00".  Now when I close the browser and re-open, these are not cleared out. I have to close and re-open a second time before these return to "00". Not sure when exactly this started to occur but I am using Version 39.0.2171.99 on Windows 7.

Thanks for reviewing!

Hi there,

Just wanted to let you know that this issue is no longer happening with the latest update to Version 39.0.2171.99. Hoping that this continues to work properly as more updates come out. Thanks again for your work!

Hello,

Typically in a private browsing session, clicked on links do not show as "visited".  It seems that after every other update or so, the functionality of clicked on links changes in Epic. As of the most recent (Version 39.0.2171.71 (290621)) links I click on are changing to indicate that they were visited. These pages are not showing in the history but still is of some concern as there should be no indication of the sites that are clicked on.

Like I said, the functionality here seems to change quite a bit in Epic. Usually after an update. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Thank you for your continued work.
