To start with: the problem didn't happen again after another de/reinstall.
The desktopicon came back all the time when I had the Epic browser open. After deletion it turnes up again wthin minutes. Same with the taskbar icon.
But all is well that ends well and the problem is gone, for whatever reason.

Hi,
I have Epic installed in my taskbar but it also shows on the desktop. When I remove the icon to the bin, some times later it shows up again: annoying.
I uninstalled Epic and reinstalled it again: nothing changed so far, probably less frequent.
Something I can do to stop this from happening?

Do I understand that the proxy is not available for IP's not based in the US?
Is there a way around this? I'm staying in France and would like to be able to use a/the proxy.

Hi all,
I've tried to start working with the Epic-browser because I would like abrowser with all its features.
Unfortunately it didn't work as I would have liked it to do.
Besides I saw a lot of users, like myself, report issues on the forum. My issues have not even been answered since about one week. My conclusion is that Epic, the browser and the people looking after it, is/are not ready yet. I will check Epic in the future though.

I posted earlier on the tunnel_error which is a proxy-bug if I am right.
After starting Epic I have to refresh the page, with the tunnel_error, before I get what I have set to open which is the epic-search page.
One other thing that strikes me is that the icons in the favorites bar don't show. The only icon I see, afer one minute or so, is the Epic icon.
In the meantime I have used the Epic browser and must conclude that it is not working very well at the moment:
- very slow opening most of the sites
- has to reload a live news stream every 30'' or so. It works well with other browsers like FF.
I hope you can solve my problems and the ones I read reported since I would very much like to use a browser with the Epic features.

Installed Epic and want the epic-searbar-page to be my homepage. Clicking the epic-icon gives me an error: webpage not available. I have a way around this but it's not as it should be.
I read in another post this could be a proxy-bug.
