Yes, this version number is bit confuse. We hooked an open source updating engine(sparkle) to Chromium. This server needs different version number (2452).

You can tell us any version number.  But we will work on this and get only one version number.

This is our Application data path. Are you worried about favicon and favicon journal leaks your privacy ???

Yes, we are able to generate this bugs. We are working on it. Very soon we will come with an update.

We are sorry for inconvenience. This is very weird.
First, don't worry nothing happens with the subscription filters settings.  Epic is completely sandboxed. It never access any of your personal data.

May be you are loosing your settings on browser close.

Can you help me one thing,  go to settings page, and set any settings and see if they are set after restarting the browser.

We are not blocking any cookies except third party cookies. Do you mean third party cookies?

If you want to disable third party cookies or cookies  , go to settings->privacy->content settings -> cookies, then you can find options to enable or disable cookies and third party cookies.

We tried all possible ways to re produce this bug. This is a rare bug in chromium. Just delete Epic browsers's App Data.

I would like to check one thing regarding this password loss.

Have you deleted your app data before?
after deleting, your passwords are saved. Then after some time passwords are loosing again ?

or
you never deleted your app data.

can you navigate to  %localappdata%\Epic Privacy Browser\User Data\Default\Extensions\ojmkmloghldahkpgloknaapbpembjija and let us know what is the folder name.

What exactly the problem with add block ? Is it crashing  or not blocking any adds ?

Are you using windows or mac ?

At this point we are not providing any alternatives to Epic Filter (adblock) or default search engines. Some times search engines and Extensions leak your privacy, so we are debating couple of things with these.
