It would depend on your setting selection and operating system and parameters. Ports are the same for all operating systems for desktop+android) except for iOS which uses the native OS VPN and not an encrypted proxy. Here is a link to port settings for macOS https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202944. I hope this helps.
Do a search for export Edge favorites and choose your article source. Then go to Bookmarks click on 3 dots, bookmark manager and import as needed.
Yes and it's due for a new version.
Sorry, it may be related to some changes in the latest Chromium extension handling...not sure...strange as we haven't had issues installing extensions in our testing...we will have a new desktop update out hopefully by the end of April. (from Alok).
Try disabling the adblocker/reload and see if that helps on those problem sites. You can try it with or without the VPN.
Good luck!
As usual what Operating System, version etc. Firewall settings, using proxy, any other settings might be helpful.
I referred you to Alok.
Epic has it's own fee based search engine https://www.epicsearch.in/register/, also read here https://forum.epicbrowser.com/search.ph … 1889164111 or query privacy search engines on the net.

Try searching preferences/settings for cookies or enter this chrome://settings/cookies?search=cookies. There are a plethora of settings that may help. Then try this chrome://settings/content to allow changes if you haven't already. If you disable the proxy I found it is sometimes easier to make some sites work. Alternatively use another browser.
Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I somehow bypassed your query.
Good luck.
Referred you to Alok.
I referred your complaint to Alok. I suspect it has something to do with a Windows setting but I'm not sure.

Just disable the VPN if you don't wish to use it.
Read this https://support.google.com/chrome_webst … ermissions, it might help.
This section "Install and manage extensions" is the part you might be interested in. Be advised that this Epic version is Chrome 91 and the help article may have been written for version 99 or another. As the versions change so do a lot of things and I'm not aware of what OS or version you are using not that that would be useful.
Here is some more info that might be informative https://www.ghacks.net/category/google-chrome-browsing/.
Good luck.

What is your OS/Version?
You might go into Preferences/Advanced and reset EPIC and see if that resolves the problem. I haven't experienced this so it might be challenging.
All the settings are there, it's sometimes complex.
Under Preferences/Privacy and Security/Clear Browsing Data /Advanced, check all the appropriate boxes. Then quit Epic and restart. Repost if these don't work.
Here is a suggestion..
You may put the CSV password file in downloads, then click on the 3 dot icon labeled action, then open with Epic. I think that will work.
Good luck!
I have the same problem and use Apple maps, other mail applications or another browser. If you have a Google account it might work and it does work in Safari. I figured it out long ago but it's not worth the bother.
The workaround is in Site Settings under preferences.
You are quite astute to notice the map problem!
You have to save your passwords as a CSV file to import.

Epic is Version 91.0.4472.114 of Chromium as you inquired and it has been modified for privacy, security etc.
You can read more info https://epicbrowser.com/our-key-features.html the sake of brevity. You may also install extensions and the VPN is included N/C.
If you have more questions feel free.
Enter https://www.epicsearch.in/register/ and follow the directions. Best of luck!
I referred your query to Alok.
Do a search for "Wine, Linux or Mint" in the Epic Privacy Forum Bar and you will find the information you need.
Good luck!
PC version, XP, 7 ,10 etc?
I know Epic/Chromium doesn't support XP. Windows 7 may not function with Epic.
We don't have a definitive answer unfortunately.
Thank you for the information. It's great when users share their tips and work arounds!
It could be a setting on your MacOS firewall, SIP (System Integrity Protection), the version of MacOS, a setting in Epic, Google Chrome store, not having an account or something I haven't thought of.
I don't have an answer, sorry.
There is of auditing software available online provided you have the expertise needed.
First try https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ex … cale=en-US.
You can import the file from another OS/browser or you can export them from the saved Epic password (CSV file) list by clicking on the 3 dots or search Epic using import passwords. Also do a search "password" https://forum.epicbrowser.com/search.ph … 1739462994 in the Epic forum or search in your browser "import IOS Chromium passwords".
Good luck!
Personally I wouldn't install any of them and I will refer it to Alok. The product does quite well and still functions. Adding too many extensions is as best risky unless you are sure of what goes on behind the scenes.
Operating system Windows? Version?
