Hi Puglover,

Hi, thanks for reporting. This is a bug.
Hi, have you uninstalled your last browser version? Please uninstall and download the latest epic from epicbrowser.com. This removes the Epic Desktop Shortcut Icon & Taskbar and Quick Launch bar.
The bug was from installer, as of now we are unable to update the old installers.
You can read our blog http://blog.epicbrowser.com/?p=16
It is upto you, if you want your location to be not known, you can "on" the proxy.
Hi Mike, this problem is resolved in the latest builds.
Hi Alex,
Google Chrome's auto suggest is provided through their servers, which means every time you search, they provide the words that you need which allows them read your search behaviors and provide accordingly some ads, while Epic has everything built locally, so that it does not hit any servers.
For passwords prompting you can uncheck the "Offer to save passwords I enter on the web" in settings page.
@easygo, we have seen some issues with our proxy, we are working on an update and will release very soon!

Please uninstall Epic (at the bottom of wrench menu) and delete Epic Folder (%APPDATA%/Local/), do a fresh download the latest Epic from epicbrowser.com and install it.
That is a bug in the omaha installer, we have fixed it in new downloads, we are also working on updating the updater on already downloaded versions (which is likely to take sometime)
