Try Epic Preferences/Settings/Privacy and Security/ Search for "All cookies and site data" and you will find what you are looking for.
Good luck!

I can't figure it out as I use MacOS and I'm not proficient with Windows 8.1. As usual there is probably a setting in "Extensions" that might solve the problem but I am stumped.
Try this one https://chrome.google.com/webstore/sear … ock%20plus as it was used in previous versions of Epic. On occasion I have disabled all extensions then restarted Epic and then re enabled all extensions with some success.
Perhaps some other users could offer some input.
Hopefully someone has a workaround. I'll refer this to the "mother ship" for a sometimes delayed response.
Thanks for your patience.
Here is what I recommend.
1-Under "Advanced", Reset Epic.
2-Backup data and delete Epic then re down load. Make sure it goes in the "Applications" Folder (you probably already know this)
3-Allow "Incoming communications" for Epic in Firewall options
4- You might update to MacOS Monterey as it works well on both the Intel an M1.
5- If you are using anti virus disable or make the appropriate settings to allow the download. Please check your antivirus and white-list Epic from it -- please make sure it's not quarantining any Epic files. (from Alok)
If these don't work repost. Good luck!
Thanks for sharing. Hopefully others will benefit from your post.

"Yes, I can verify that the Epic Encrypted Proxy is not activated on a new install.
Also, if you activate Epic Encrypted Proxy and close the browser and run it again, it is deactivated unless you activate the Ad Blocker too.

This might help! Good luck.
Like any article there is always a bit of truth.
From Alok
"Epic itself doesn't connect to any Google servers. What connects to Google is the Widevine plugin which is owned by Google and needs to check for updates whenever it's opened (or it doesn't work). Interesting that if you block it, Epic doesn't work -- that shouldn't happen. You should also be able to delete the Widevine plugin somewhere and Epic should work fine. Widevine is a proprietary plugin for DRM media e.g. Netflix, and many other media sites use to stream media while protecting it." https://forum.epicbrowser.com/viewtopic … 174#p69174
No browser is going to be perfect or it probably won't function. It never hurts to read about these things.
Thanks for your thoughts!
It will be updated.
What OS, version?
Today there have been a few reports of anomalies. I don't know what or why this is occurring . I sent your query to Alok.
I sent this to Alok, might be a wait.
I sent this to Alok, it might be a wait!
He didn't reply to me.
It happens rarely. I just use another browser if I really wish to access the page. Safari worked fine, no explanation or workaround.
Sorry!
What operating system, version etc.?
Have you changed settings like javascript? Have you tried disabling the adblocker, restarting etc.? Also try disabling the proxy to login, then enable it.
Do a search of Captcha in the Epic search, you will find several different posts/ideas. I have disabled Epic AdBlocker for the site I have trouble with and sometimes that succeeds, changing javascript options may help. Clearing cookies or quitting then restarting Epic sometimes helps. Each site is unique and some sites don't tolerate a cloaking or obfuscation of origin/identity.
As you have probably figured out this is one of the cat, mouse games that occur when you have a privacy browser. We don't always have the answers. I am hoping other users may have some suggestions. I hope this helps a little.
Good luck!
Try turning off your proxy which works most of the time.
FYI
I sent the request to him.
Elaborate please?
Hopefully I have answered your question, when I loaded browser I believe it was in Preferences/ Search/"proxy" and enable in preferences but it could be in Preferences/extensions.
Sorry I can't do more!
Did you go to preferences, extensions or chrome://extensions/? or In extensions under search proxy and enable.
Thanks for the information. Feel free to share it with others as we have had a number of Windows 10 questions.
Interesting concept which remains to be examined. I read a couple of articles about it and it was of course favorable. Time will tell.
Thanks!
If I understand you correctly you are using another browser, does that mean I.E. Safari or what. If you are not using EPIC I would understand why it doesn't function. What OS/version are you using? I don't understand your query and hope you can make it more specific.
I suggest you contact alok at hiddenreflex dot com.
Good luck.
